Trade coverage reports that KPA acquired the company.
KPA says the ComplyNet offer now sits inside its Vera Suite platform. The company says the suite serves more than 15,000 automotive clients.
It also says 40 of the top 50 dealer groups use it.
KPA describes a training library of more than 400 courses. The courses cover workplace safety, human resources and FTC rules, and KPA says they are built for the automotive industry.
Courses run online and in a mobile app, with tracking of completion and quiz scores.
Auto Remarketing reported an earlier arrangement in which ComplyNet named a new chief executive and introduced a training platform with 700Credit. A dealer would ask which courses staff must take by role and who receives the completion records.
KPA announced on October 18, 2023 that it had acquired ComplyNet, which is based in Columbus, Ohio. ComplyNet sold compliance software for privacy and safeguards, EHS, and F&I and advertising.
It served automotive, RV, powersports and marine dealers.
KPA's chief executive Chris Fanning said the two firms had more than 65 combined years in automotive compliance. The deal brought in ComplyNet's ABLE compliance suite and its Guided Compliance Assistance process.
TD Cowen advised KPA and Presidio Technology Partners advised ComplyNet.
ComplyNet's older materials named ABLE as its compliance suite. KPA folded it into the Vera Suite after the sale.
A dealer who trained staff on ComplyNet would ask whether past course records moved across and who now holds them.
