What a record is
Company, product, integration and comparison records describe documented scope, each with a stated evidence status and a review date. Evidence status describes research provenance, not product quality. Directory order is alphabetical and expresses no preference. No universal best provider is named anywhere on this site, and no badge, award or certification is offered or sold.
What a record is not
A record is a research snapshot, not a warranty. Company names, ownership, products, features, availability, OEM programs, pricing, contract terms and integrations change, and a record can be correct on its review date and wrong afterwards. Nothing here establishes that a product will work in a given dealership, with a given DMS, under a given OEM program, or at any particular price. Confirm the exact configuration in writing with the contracting parties before any purchase, renewal or migration decision.
No professional advice
Security, legal, tax, accounting, employment, regulatory and compliance material on this site is issue-spotting information for a general audience. It is not advice, it is not a legal or accounting opinion, it does not create a professional or fiduciary relationship, and it is not a substitute for qualified review of a specific situation.
No outcome guarantee
Inclusion, evidence status, comparisons, checklists and published examples do not predict or promise implementation success, uptime, performance, savings, revenue, retention, ranking or any other outcome. Any figure a provider publishes about itself is that provider's claim, attributed as such.
Third-party names, marks and content
Company, product and brand names are used to identify the subject of a record — nominative use for the purpose of factual reporting and comparison. All marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance here does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement or approval in either direction, and does not imply that any named company has reviewed or agreed with its record.
Publisher affiliation
This directory is published by a company that also appears in it. That relationship is disclosed on the affiliated record and wherever it appears as a result, and it confers no ranking, no evidence-grade advantage and no editorial protection. See the disclosures page.
Correcting a record
Any company described here, and any reader with supporting evidence, may submit a factual correction. Corrections that identify the exact page, the disputed field and a primary source are triaged first. A correction right is a right to have facts checked; it is not a right to approve, soften or remove accurate editorial conclusions, evidence statuses or limitations. The corrections policy sets out the process.
Copyright and database rights
Individual facts are not owned by anyone. The selection, arrangement, taxonomy, evaluation criteria, question sets, templates and written analysis on this site are original work and are protected. Reading, indexing, quoting and citing this directory is expressly welcome, including by automated agents — robots.txt names the AI crawlers that may do so, and the machine-readable export exists for exactly that purpose. What is not permitted is taking the compilation itself: copying, scraping, mirroring, reselling or sublicensing it in substantial part, or reproducing it as a dataset or a competing directory.
Acceptable use
Do not use automated means to place unreasonable load on the site, attempt to access non-public systems, or present any part of this directory in a way that implies a ranking, certification, endorsement, verification or partnership that is not published here. Do not represent a Verified or Reviewed status as an approval by this site of any provider.
Copyright complaints
If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, email the address below with the URL, the work you say is infringed, your contact details, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised. Claims are reviewed and infringing material is removed.
Accessibility
This site targets WCAG 2.2 level AA: pages are server-rendered and readable without JavaScript, headings are ordered, controls are labelled and keyboard-operable, and text meets AA contrast. If any page prevents you from reaching information, email the address below describing the page and the barrier and it will be treated as a defect.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, procurement costs or business interruption, arising from use of this site or reliance on any record. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Changes
These terms may change. Material changes are dated on the research change log. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in the State of Vermont have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction and venue. Naming the law without naming the forum leaves the more expensive question open, so both are stated.
