Trustap: product details

Trustap says it handles payments, fulfilment and support for more than 250 marketplaces and ecommerce stores, across event tickets, pre-owned apparel, vehicles, electronics and luxury goods, supports over 100 countries and currencies, and integrates with Stripe for processing and with Amazon and more than 640 carriers for fulfilment. Its about page says it was founded in Cork in 2016, operates from six offices and saw transaction volume grow 370 percent year over year in the first half of 2025.

Its home page says it works with more than 300 ecommerce and marketplace customers. All figures are company statements.

Its newest product, Index, is an agentic commerce tool that ingests listings, makes inventory discoverable and transactable by AI, and executes payment while Trustap holds funds until the human confirms. It is not a dealership system.

A dealer or marketplace considering it for vehicle deposits or private-party sales should ask about licensing, dispute handling for high-value items and how funds are released.

A dealership would meet Trustap through a motors marketplace rather than directly, because its customers are platforms. If a dealer sells through such a platform, it should ask when funds are released, how a buyer dispute is decided and whether the platform or Trustap bears a chargeback.
