Procede Software Mobile Service Plus

Procede Software Mobile Service Plus: Procede Software describes Mobile Service Plus as a mobile extension of its Excede dealer management system. The product lets technicians and service advisors manage repair orders on a mobile device, so tasks that used to require a desktop can be finished at the check-in lane, in the service bay or in the field.

Truck Parts and Service reported the release of the next-generation mobile service solution. Procede published announcements for Mobile Service Plus version 2.0.

The company says the latest release brings several earlier mobile and service products into one platform with a responsive design. So it looks and behaves consistently across devices.

Features listed include adding or removing parts within the app, with barcode scanning or selection from the system for accurate part entry, an offline mode that lets users keep working without internet and sync later. GPS coordinates that record where service was performed.

The last is relevant to remote or roadside service.

Procede's customers include truck, bus and aftermarket dealerships across North America, as its own pages and outside profiles describe. Its service department pages list a web app and other tools that share the same repair order data.

A Communication Plus page describes the messaging side of the mobile solution.

Procede describes the product as an extension of the Excede DMS, so it is best read with the Excede record. A commercial vehicle dealer with technicians who work away from a desk is the natural user.

The mobile tools are designed around that pattern.

Practical questions include how the app handles a technician working in a location with no coverage, how repair order changes sync and how conflicts are resolved, how signatures and photos are attached, how parts are reserved from inventory, and what devices are supported. A service manager would also ask how time punches on the device feed payroll.

Ask for reference calls. Involve the daily users.

Mobile Service Plus puts repair orders on a handheld for both advisors and technicians. Procede's version 2.0, announced in July 2025, merges earlier mobile and service apps into one responsive app and adds an offline mode that keeps working without a connection and syncs afterward.

It extends Excede, the company's DMS for truck, bus, trailer and aftermarket dealers. A service manager should check how offline changes are reconciled with the shop floor if two people edit the same order, which devices are supported and whether time clock and vehicle history are in the same app.
