Tekion Partner Cloud

Tekion Partner Cloud: Tekion describes Automotive Partner Cloud as its platform for connecting certified third-party partners and manufacturers with dealers who use Tekion. A Business Wire release about version 2.0, carried by several outlets, describes it as a next generation of the program, launched originally in June 2024.

Tekion Partner Cloud: Partner Cloud

The main new module in version 2.0 is an Integration Hub, described as a central place where dealers review, authorize and manage partner applications without forms or support tickets. Tekion says dealers get visibility into data sharing, with tools to track who accesses their data and manage permissions.

For partners, Tekion says organizations can add several users with customizable access levels and can publish and manage applications under one account, each with its own credentials. The company describes the platform as giving trusted technology providers secure, quick access to dealership data and tools to build integrations.

It publishes an open API portal.

Tekion also reports growth figures for the program in its release, which are the company's own statements. A Tekion blog post describes how the partner cloud is meant to enhance collaboration in auto retail.

The product page describes dealership integrations and partner programs.

For a vendor, it is a route to be listed for Tekion stores.

A dealer would ask which partners are certified, how permissions are reviewed and revoked, how data fields are limited for each partner, how the store sees an access log and what fees or terms apply. A vendor would ask about certification requirements, timelines and support.

The record sits beside the Reynolds Certified Interface and Authenticom DealerVault entries, which describe other routes to DMS data. The category guide for DMS integration lists a neutral checklist for comparing them.

The platform is built for approved partners. Tekion describes Automotive Partner Cloud as API access for certified organizations that work with dealers and manufacturers, with more than 390 APIs across sales, service, inventory and parts.

The company reports over 500 registered partners and more than 6,000 installs by dealers. A newer release adds an Integration Hub where a dealer can review, authorize and manage third-party integrations without forms or support tickets, which puts access decisions in the dealer's hands.

Ask any vendor you are considering whether it is a certified partner and which APIs its connection uses.
