An April 2023 Business Wire announcement introduced the plan as a new tier and highlighted real-time data reporting across shop locations. Tekmetric's feature page describes tracking revenue, car count and parts sales in real time, then viewing shop-specific reports to look for trends and inefficiencies.

Another Tekmetric post says the reporting spans the whole organization, small groups of shops and individual locations.

Centralized data management is the second theme. Tekmetric says an owner can create, edit and delete records in one place and publish the changes to the shops.

The standardized items it names are digital vehicle inspections, canned jobs, pricing, discounts, job categories and other shop settings.

The company describes shared customer profiles and history, so a customer who visits a second location is already on file. On the people side, it describes a central list of employees showing each person's role and the shops they serve, with employee creation, role assignment, payroll administration and transfers between locations handled centrally.

Tekmetric also lists parts and supplies control across shops within inventory management, and role-based permissions that decide which of the centralized data (reporting, inventory, employees, customers) a given user can see. For growth, it describes a streamlined setup for a new location, where data is published to the shop and employees are provisioned.

This is a fixed-operations record. It sits with shop management systems.

It applies to dealership service departments only when the store runs Tekmetric, which is more common at independent shops and multi-shop groups than at franchised dealers. A dealer group with a separate collision or quick-lube operation would be the closer match.

Questions to bring to a Tekmetric conversation: how the store's existing customer and vehicle history is imported, how accounting and parts ordering integrations are handled across locations, what each permission level can change, and whether reports can be exported.
