The company says the satellite has a small footprint and can be installed in areas with very limited space, such as parking halls or next to walls, which matters for a dealership with a crowded lot or service drive. The distributed layout separates the bulky power electronics from the dispensers.

Kempower says its DC fast chargers can be equipped with CCS1, CHAdeMO and NACS connectors, and that a single charging satellite system can include several charging outlets fed by one power unit.
