KPA EHS Software

KPA EHS Software: KPA describes its environmental, health and safety software for dealers as Vera EHS, delivered as part of Vera Suite. It is aimed at dealership service and body shop operations where safety inspections, incident reporting and hazardous material rules apply.

KPA EHS Software: Vera Suite

It is packaged as modules that run in a mobile app.

The inspection tools let a user build their own inspection forms, link issues to the relevant regulation, assign an owner to each recommended corrective action and follow the item through to completion. KPA presents this as a way to find problems and plan the fix before they turn into incidents.

Incident management is described as real-time. Users record events as they happen, document the details and put corrective actions in motion.

For accidents, KPA describes a mobile, wizard-based accident reporting form that walks the person through the accident management steps so that information is captured quickly for both action and reporting.

Other modules include safety training and safety data sheet management. The mobile app is described as capturing information and images on the spot, including when the device is offline, which fits a service drive or a body shop where connectivity can be uneven.

A KPA blog announcement describes a task management enhancement that lets dealers and service centers track open training courses, issues, inspections and incident tasks in one place. That is listed in KPA's own release as an addition to the EHS software.

The suite includes the HR, F&I and privacy modules, while the EHS product focuses on workplace safety. Marketplace pages on SoftwareOne and review sites such as Software Finder list the product.

The Work Safety 24/7 site has an article on it.

A shop manager evaluating the module would ask which state agencies' requirements are mapped, how photos and signatures are stored, how an audit trail is exported for an inspector, how many locations can be reported together, and how staff without company email addresses are set up. The category guide for dealership compliance software lists the shared checklist.

KPA says it has helped more than 10,000 clients over 30 years with regulatory compliance. Its EHS module covers safety and environmental programs for dealership shops.

Field consultants visit or advise sites as part of the service.

A shop owner would ask what the software covers for paint, waste and lift inspections, and which tasks need a consultant visit.
