MineralTree Inspyrus
MineralTree Inspyrus: MineralTree describes Inspyrus as an accounts payable automation solution that it acquired, together with Regal Software, as announced in a MineralTree news post about new investment and acquisitions. The Inspyrus site now presents the product under the MineralTree name.
MineralTree Inspyrus: Inspyrus
It is a general finance tool that a dealership's accounting office might use.
According to the company, Inspyrus automates the invoice-to-pay process using artificial intelligence, machine learning and intelligent document processing. Listed features include advanced purchase order matching, AI-enabled predictive coding and real-time invoice capture, with an optical character recognition step to read invoice data.
Inspyrus can match invoice lines to purchase orders and receipts. MineralTree says rules and validations set in the ERP extend in real time to Inspyrus and update when the rules change.
If approvals are delayed, the system sends reminders to the approver by email.
The company describes analytics that show how payment timing affects cash flow and which vendors have the highest exception rates. MineralTree also publishes solution pages for integrations with ERPs, including Oracle JD Edwards and Oracle cloud products.

The search results for this product show no dealership-specific features. So a dealership should treat it as a general accounts payable tool.
A dealer with a large parts and vehicle purchasing volume, or a group with a central accounting office, is the type of business that might evaluate it.
Because dealerships run accounting inside the DMS, the key question is integration: which accounting systems and DMSs the tool connects to, how invoices are coded to the dealership's chart of accounts, how vehicle purchase invoices and manufacturer statements are handled, and how approvals follow the store's authority limits.
The category guide for accounting and payables tools lists a neutral checklist. Compare against today's process.
Inspyrus was founded in 2008. It described itself as turning accounts payable into a profit center.
At the time of the sale it said it processed over 15 million invoices a year, with more than 100 billion dollars in AP spend.
MineralTree bought it in September 2020, and Enterprise Times, Finextra and FinTech Futures covered the deal. A controller would ask whether the old Inspyrus product is still sold or has been folded into MineralTree's own.
