Vitu NTX National Title Exchange: Vitu describes NTX, the National Title Exchange, as an e-titling platform for acquiring and issuing digital vehicle titles nationwide. The company says it follows three steps.

A user gets chain of custody documents, secures lien satisfaction or uses the Accelerated Title service, and signs, uploads and submits documents digitally.

When a paper title is not available, users can submit motor vehicle records instead. A Title Tracker gives real-time visibility through the process, including audit status, printing, scanning and shipping with carrier details.

Sellers can sign electronically from anywhere.

Vitu says dealers use NTX to title inventory faster, support trade-in acquisition and get vehicles ready for auction. Lenders use it to streamline payoff and release.

The company cites timing and cost figures and describes security attestations, which are its own claims.

Vitu also announced acquiring the Dealertrack titling businesses, described in those entries.

A controller would ask which states and lenders take part and how a title is tracked after submission. It would ask how exceptions are handled and how fees are billed.

The category guide for titling lists a neutral checklist. Ask who supports it.

Get it in writing.

Vitu describes NTX as a digital titling API for high-volume submissions. It says one API call can place a vehicle title in a lender's or dealer's name, with results in days rather than weeks or months.

The company says its goal is to automate vehicle-to-government transactions.

PRWeb carried a Vitu release on the acceleration of e-title adoption. A lender would ask which states accept NTX submissions and what the failure handling is.
