iTapMenu Deal Tracker

iTapMenu Deal Tracker: iTapMenu describes Deal Tracker as a feature meant to bring transparency to the finance office. Its what's-new page lays out three steps.

iTapMenu Deal Tracker: Deal Tracker

A deal is created and the customer's phone number is recorded. The customer then receives real-time updates.

Status tracking follows the deal until it finishes.

The company states the aim as more transparency, fewer questions and a smoother, faster process. The idea is that a buyer waiting on paperwork sees where the deal stands.

That may reduce the number of times a customer asks the store for an update.

Deal Tracker arrived alongside other updates. iTapMenu Ultra adds a Remote Menu and J.D. Power integration.

A redesigned product icon lets a finance manager accept a product with one tap and open details with another. Full Menu Draw lets the manager sketch across the presentation.

F&I and Showroom, Auto Remarketing and P&A Magazine reported on its link with the Provider Exchange Network. Text messages to customers need consent, so a store should confirm how the number is collected and used.

A finance manager would ask what the customer sees in each update. It would also ask who writes the messages, whether they can be edited, how opt-outs are handled and how the tracker ties to the DMS and the deal status.

The category guide for F&I tools lists a neutral checklist. Verify each integration first.

Deal Tracker creates a deal, saves the customer's phone number and sends real-time status updates. iTapMenu says this gives customers more transparency and fewer questions. It is a feature for iTapMenu Pro users only.

The menu tool connects to more than 200 F&I product providers with e-rating, e-contracting and e-signature for each product. A store would ask what the customer sees in the text and how opt-out works.
