OPENLANE launched its first branded marketplace in Canada from June 2023 by combining the ADESA and TradeRev platforms. The company kept its ADESA Canada, ADESA UK and ADESA Europe businesses when it sold the US physical auction business.

It uses OPENLANE as the parent name since the 2023 rebrand from KAR Global.
