SimplePart Parts Ecommerce

SimplePart Parts Ecommerce: SimplePart describes itself as an e-commerce platform built for automotive and powersports dealerships that sell genuine parts, accessories and services online. The company says it works with manufacturers as well as dealers.

SimplePart Parts Ecommerce: Parts & wholesale

It runs the Mopar Parts Online program under its own pages for Stellantis dealers.

The platform lets a dealership open a branded online store without in-house technical staff. SimplePart's pages describe inventory management, digital marketing optimization and customer engagement tools as part of that package, along with built-in shipping and payment integrations and real-time data updates so catalog and pricing changes flow into the store.

SimplePart says a dealer can go live in as little as a day, and its tools include an eBay integration. The company also says its team supports dealers around the clock, a description of its service model rather than a measured outcome.

A B2B solution is described as a set of tools within the same platform, intended for selling parts and accessories online and on the showroom floor, for example to repair shops that buy from the dealership's parts counter. Its help center publishes package descriptions, including a Base Package, so a dealer can read what each tier includes before buying.

Service pages are part of the picture. SimplePart says its service sites feature a page for every job performed so vehicle owners can find the dealer when searching online.

It describes localized online advertising as a way to attract new customers to the store.

The product is distributed by SimplePart directly and through Infomedia, an automotive software company whose product pages describe SimplePart e-commerce packages. IFM Americas carries a similar description.

That indicates the platform is sold through more than one channel. A dealer should confirm which contract entity it is dealing with.

Questions a parts manager would bring: how the catalog is matched to the dealer's own parts inventory and DMS pricing, how shipping rates and tax are calculated by state, how returns and fitment errors are handled, and how orders reach the parts counter. This is a fixed-operations record: it sits with the parts department more than with sales.
