FICO: product details

FICO's home page presents it as an applied intelligence and decision software company, not an auto-lending vendor. It lists recognition as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Decision Intelligence Platforms, in the Forrester Wave for AI Decisioning Platforms in Q2 2025 and in the IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Decision Intelligence Platforms 2026, and carries a statement on FHFA and FHA credit score modernization concerning FICO Score 10T for the mortgage market.

These are the company's reports of analyst ratings, which a dealer cannot use to judge any auto product.

Its platform page describes unifying originations, customer management, fraud and collections into real-time decisions, and its solutions page lists application fraud, application risk models, card fraud and collections and recovery. For a dealership the link is indirect: FICO scores and decision tools sit inside lenders and credit bureaus.

A dealer should ask a lender or bureau which score version it will use for a given deal and how that appears on adverse action notices.
