ProfitKeeperPro: product details

ProfitKeeperPro says the average dealership loses over $600,000 a year in fixed operations gross profit through discounts, mis-priced labor and parts, and uncollected shop supplies, a company figure with no stated sample. Its fixed ops reporting product is built for fixed ops managers, service managers and dealership executives, flags financial leaks, tracks advisor and technician performance and promises one-click reports.

Its team page says Karen Dillon, the president, began working with Phyllis Szydlowski on the product in November 2021 and earlier helped build LeaseLink into a provider with over 4,000 customers, sold to DealerTrack in August 2004.

A service director should ask which DMS reports feed it, how often data refreshes, how discounts are separated from warranty and internal work, and what the monthly price is per store. Because the product reads existing repair order data, ask also who in the dealership is allowed to see technician-level numbers.

Its pitch is that numbers hide losses, so a store should expect to receive exception reports on discounts, mis-priced labor and parts and uncollected shop supplies, and should decide in advance who acts on them. The product depends on repair order data being accurate, so a shop with inconsistent opcodes or manual overrides may see noisy results at first.
