Hireology Onboarding: Onboarding

Hireology and Dealertrack DMS announced an integration that passes new hire data to start onboarding and payroll.

The company says its platform integrates with several payroll and HR systems, such as ADP, Workday, Paycor, Dayforce and BambooHR. Those connections carry a new hire's data into the systems that run pay and benefits.

The Paycom and Netchex entries cover payroll.

A dealership HR lead would ask what onboarding tasks the module handles, how documents are signed and stored and how the module ties to payroll. It would ask how it fits with manufacturer training requirements.

The transition from accepted offer to payroll

Hireology describes onboarding and payroll as connected HR functions with automated data flow and accountability. The practical buying question is which accepted-candidate information reaches the employee record and which first-day tasks remain with dealership staff. hireology.com

Follow a test hire from the accepted offer into onboarding, inspect the assigned paperwork and then examine the payroll handoff. A dealer group should test the legal entity and work location as well as the employee's name, because the receiving payroll record needs the correct organizational context. hireology.com
