FusionZONE Automotive: product details
fusionZONE Automotive was a dealer website and digital marketing agency founded in 2009 in Lakeland, Florida. DealerOn completed its acquisition in November 2023, and the fusionZONE name now resolves to DealerOn, which publishes the product line.
Its services had included website design, SEO, social media, local listings, pay-per-click advertising and review management, and DealerOn said the deal would add more than 600 dealerships. Treat DealerOn as the active provider.
It began in Lakeland, Florida.
A dealer on a fusionZONE contract should confirm that it now runs through DealerOn, whether the site platform is moving and who supports it. For a new search, treat DealerOn as the active provider.
DealerOn's November 9, 2023 release says the deal closed from its headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, and describes DealerOn as supporting more than 5,000 dealerships across the United States, Mexico and South America. It names TD Cowen as fusionZONE's exclusive financial adviser.
Ed Barton, fusionZONE's chief executive, is quoted saying clients would gain from DealerOn's larger resources and technology, and DealerOn's chief executive, Ali Amirrezvani, called the deal a step in its growth. Neither statement says what happens to existing fusionZONE contracts or sites, which is the question a current client needs answered in writing.
DealerOn's about page says the company began more than 20 years ago, now has more than 750 employees and serves over 7,000 dealerships and dealer groups, and its home page promotes the Cosmos website platform. A fusionZONE client should ask which of those products its site is moving to, whether its current domain, content and ad accounts transfer without change, and who the support contact is today.
Ask for a written migration plan and a date, and keep a copy of your current site content and analytics before any switch. Ask what happens to local listings and review accounts.
