Auto Remarketing has reported on several CDK moves around the DMS. These include a customer data platform inside the Dealership Xperience system and opening the Fixed Operations Suite to all dealerships.
It also reported a smaller DMS with a pricing model for stores with one or two locations.
CDK also sells a Fundamentals Suite for independent and used-car dealers. Those pieces show CDK selling different products to different sizes of store.
A dealer would ask which modules come in the base contract and which cost extra. It would ask how data leaves the DMS and what integration fees apply.
CDK Global's US business is owned by Brookfield since July 2022. Before that it was a public company and had spun out of ADP in 2014.
