MAX Digital Appraisal
MAX Digital Appraisal: MAX Digital, now branded as ACV MAX, describes its appraisal product as a collaborative trade-in tool. Trade coverage in Auto Dealer Today, Digital Dealer and F&I and Showroom reported the launch of the collaborative trade-in process tool, sold under the name MAX My Trade.

The company's own blog carries the same announcement.
The process is built around a walkaround. Typically on an iPad, the customer and the salesperson inspect the vehicle together and agree on ratings for different aspects of the car, such as interior condition, brakes and tires, using a 10-point scale.
The company presents this as a way to make the customer a participant instead of a spectator while the appraisal is prepared.
After the walkaround, the tool produces a market-based appraisal report. According to the launch coverage, it combines the condition rating with values from third-party valuation sources such as Kelley Blue Book and NADA to give a suggested price for the trade.
A current ACV MAX appraisal page describes VIN-level insights, live market data showing local demand, wholesale auction values and reconditioning cost estimates.
Management keeps control of the offer. The coverage says the final trade offer is approved by the sales manager.
So the appraisal tool supports the decision but does not make it. That matters for stores whose used-car managers have their own process for setting a number.
A profitability reporting view is also part of the description. It compares appraisals submitted with the tool to those submitted without it, and lets the dealer monitor sales, team usage and results, which the company frames as a way to find opportunities in the trade-in process.
The product now sits within the wider ACV MAX brand, which also covers inventory management and wholesale connections. VendorMotive lists the earlier MAX Digital under its inventory and appraisal categories.
A store reading older articles should note the naming change, since the product was announced under MAX Digital.
Questions for a used-car manager: which valuation sources are used and whether the store can choose them, how photos and condition notes are stored, whether the appraisal can be sent to a customer by text or email, how it links to the store's CRM and inventory system, and what reports the store receives. The category guide for appraisal and trade-in tools lists these questions in scorecard form.
