Serti Service
Serti Service: SERTI describes its service software as the fixed operations part of its dealership management system. Its site has a Fixed Operations page for the automobile, heavy truck and motorsports markets.
Serti Service: Dealer management systems (DMS)
The company lists service scheduling, digital multi-point inspection, service pricing guides, shop control and auto-dispatch among the core service modules, plus texting and alerts.
An online appointment module lets customers book their own appointments and choose from available time slots. SERTI describes vehicle check-in functionality.
It says documents and pictures can be attached to an open repair order for quick access, with image links sent by email or text message for customer approval.
Form printing and emailing are included in the description. SERTI says its service tools run on the same database as sales and accounting, which is the unified database it describes for the whole DMS.
That means the repair order, the parts issued to it and the invoice share one record.
The company says all new SERTI modules are being developed for web and mobile platforms as it moves toward a fully web-based architecture. Its web and mobile page describes the SDSMobile app and the StatsOnline dashboard, which management can use to see service figures in real time.
Integration partners help show the ecosystem. Kimoby, a customer messaging company, publishes an integration page for SERTI DMS, described as connecting customer engagement tools with the DMS.
The Dealertrack materials on service dispatching show a comparable DMS feature set for the market. VendorMotive also lists SERTI as a Canadian DMS.
A dealer would ask how technician time is tracked against flat-rate and actual hours, how the pricing guide is maintained, how warranty claims are handled and how the DMS connects to manufacturer systems in the United States.
Support questions also matter: whether training is on site or remote, how updates are delivered, and how the shop control screen shows work in progress to advisors. The category guide for service management software lists the same items.
Verify each integration first. Check what costs extra.
SERTI's service suite lists online bookings, text messaging and customer check-in. It also has SDSEQUITY, which identifies chances to move a customer into a new vehicle at a good point in their finance agreement.
The DMS covers sales, service, accounting and CRM.
A service manager would ask how equity alerts reach the sales side and how bookings show on the shop schedule.
