Trade Agent AI by inride: product details
The inride AI site says Trade Agent AI, its first product, mines a dealer's customer database for trade-in opportunities, texts customers, answers questions, works through objections and books appointments. Its home page claims 45 units a month automatically, argues that 15 to 30 percent of past buyers upgrade through CarMax, Carvana or a competitor, and offers a calculator for trade-in unit potential.
Those are vendor claims. Its about page says the company builds autonomous AI products for acquiring inventory, engaging customers and growing, designed around gross profit, recon, acquisition cost and trade cycles.
Its press page lists a September 22, 2026 release saying Trade Agent AI now follows up on every trade-in value generated through ACV's ClearCar, whether on the dealer's website, in the service lane or from a VIPER inspection, handing the seller to the dealer's team with the conversation and appraisal, and a September 15, 2026 Automotive News feature. A dealer should ask how customer data is transferred, how consent is documented and what the per-unit fee is.
